Pete’s Hobby Railway was featured on the Front Cover of June 2021 issue of Light Railways.
Although details about Pete’s Hobby Railway regularly mentioned in the Heritage & Tourism columns of the Light Railways magazine, this is the first time we are featured on the Front Cover 🙂
The photo was taken in 2018 by Rob Astley, when Pete’s Hobby Railway had operational days during the Junee Rhythm n Rail Festival. The image features our Hunslet Steam Locomotive, Torpedo, with PHR Volunteer Rhys keeping an eye on things.
Inside the magazine, there are reports on the recycled plastic sleepers used throughout our new Depot area and the testing of the new 18m radius curve on 1 Road.
