Making tracks in Junee

Chris Meldrum from Prime News 7 Wagga visited Pete’s Hobby Railway on Thursday 2nd March and interviewed Peter Neve, the owner of Pete’s Hobby Railway and Nicholas Pyers, our Events Co-ordinator. Also appearing in the clip are Ben O’Malley and Rhys Harrison, two of our team of hard working volunteers.

The story was originally scheduled to air on the same evening’s local News, but “due to some unexpected changes” it was postponed until the following evening. However, the closing credits of Thursday’s edition of Prime 7 News Wagga featured footage of Pete’s Hobby Railway operating.

Prime 7 News introduced the story on their website with “A new arrival to Junee has brought his collection of working trains to the historic railway town. He’s set up Pete’s Hobby Railway, opening just in time for Junee’s upcoming rail and music event, Rhythm n Rail.”
